  • 2 tablespoons no-sugar-added applesauce
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions :

  1. Mix the flour, cinnamon and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the egg and applesauce, then slowly pour in the milk, whisking to avoid lumps.
  3. Leave the dough to rest for 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Heat a frying pan with a little oil or butter.
  5. Pour a small amount of batter into the pan and cook for about 1 to 2 minutes on each side, until the edges are golden brown.

  • 250ml of plant-based milk (almonds, soya, oats, etc.)
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup or other natural sweetener
  • 1 tablespoon oil (or applesauce for a fat-free option)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions :

  1. Mix the flour, chia seeds and salt in a bowl.
  2. Add the plant milk, oil (or applesauce) and maple syrup. Whisk until smooth.
  3. Leave the paste to rest for 20 minutes to allow the chia seeds to absorb the liquid and thicken the paste.
  4. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat and lightly grease with oil.
  5. Pour a small amount of batter into the hot pan and cook each pancake for 2-3 minutes on each side, until golden brown and slightly crispy.

Traditional low-fat crêpe batter

We all know the traditional crepe batter, full of sugar and butter... But do you know the light version?

For this recipe, you will need :

  • 125g of flour
  • 125g of maizena
  • 2 Eggs
  • 50cl of Milk
  • Olive oil
  • Salt

In a bowl, pour the flour and break up the eggs. Then, while stirring, add the milk, olive oil and salt little by little. Prepare your pancakes as usual.
