In 2010, Italian-Swiss Gianni Griffoni decided to call Siargao Island in the Philippines his home. Growing up, food played a big part in Gianni's life. His mother is so passionate about cooking that when Gianni started to build his life in Siargao, food became the foundation of his entrepreneurial journey on the island. Today, Gianni owns one of the most successful restaurants in Siargao, serving Italian dishes that he learned from his mom. He is also able to pass on his love for food to his family and friends. Gianni's life is a true testament that food has the power to bring people together.
